Glittery light green Inlayed Journal Leaves

This journal was cut, folded, trimmed, sewn and glued using the same traditional methods employed by crafts men and women for hundreds of years. It has 80 pages (160 sides) of 120gsm recycled paper, the pages are blank. The journal is covered in modern light green glittery bookcloth, the dark green leaf design was cut from a contrasting dark green glittery cloth and inlayed on the front cover. It has raised detailing on the spine. The end papers are hand marbles by Tomasz Lipinski in a lovely green, grey and black design that compliments the cover. The book is sewn together using waxed linen thread, and the headbanding was handmade using the same marbled paper as the endpapers, the page marker is satin ribbon and coordinates with the dark leaf on the cover.
