Coptic bound books have uncovered spines with visible stitching in a variety of patterns. This form of binding is particularly decorative and also lends itself for use as a sketch book as this binding opens completely flat with no rise at the spine.

This book is sewn with green thread using a coptic stitch. This coordinates beautifully with the William Morris style owl design in shades of blue/green on the cover. The journal has 64 pages of 120gsm 100% recycled white paper. The pages are blank. Due to the nature of the binding this book opens entirely flat, making it particularly good for sketching or mind mapping, though it also makes an excellent journal. The boards are also made from recycled material. The book is completed with a coordinating green inside cover.
