Green Florentine Journal

This stylish journal was cut, folded, trimmed, sewn and glued using the same traditional methods employed by craftsmen and women for hundreds of years. It has 80 pages (160 sides) of 120gsm quality paper, it is perfect for sketching as well as writing. The pages are blank, making it extremely versatile. This journal has been quarter bound, meaning it has bookcloth reinforced corners to its covers. This is a traditional form of binding which protects the book from wear and tear if it is stored on a bookshelf or regularly taken out of a bag, as well as being an attractive design feature. The spine and corners are covered in a traditional green bookcloth, the cover is made from recycled board and covered in a wonderful flowing green and gold Florentine design. It is sewn together using wax coated linen thread. It has green endpapers, and green and black headbanding, the black page marker is green satin ribbon.

The book is approximately 15 x 21 x 1.75cm, approximately A5.
