The large Journals have 80 pages of a wonderful soft 120gsm paper, which is perfect for sketching as well as writing. The covers are made from 100% recycled board

This stylish journal was cut, folded, trimmed, sewn and glued using the same traditional methods employed by craftsmen and women for hundreds of years. It has 80 pages (160 sides) of 120gsm quality paper, this paper has a wonderful soft texture, making it perfect for sketching as well as writing. The pages are blank, making it extremely versatile. This journal has been quarter bound, meaning it has bookcloth reinforced corners to its covers. This is a traditional form of binding which protects the book from wear and tear if it is stored on a bookshelf or regularly taken out of a bag, as well as being an attractive design feature. The spine and corners are covered in a traditional duck egg blue buckram bookcloth, the cover is made from recycled board and covered in a modern design of watercolour style overlaying leaves. It is sewn together using wax coated linen thread. It has cream endpapers, white headbanding and the pink page marker is satin ribbon.

The book is approximately 15 x 21 x 1.75cm, approximately A5.

The spine and rear cover of the book are covered in a blue bookcloth and the front is an upcycled OS Explorer map. The front cover has quarter bound corners, this is a traditional style of binding and helps protect the corners of the the book if it is stored on a shelf or taken in and out of a bag, as well as being an attractive design feature. The boards beneath the bookcloth are recycled. The journal has coordinating blue endpapers, blue headbanding and a blue satin ribbon as a page marker.
